Fun & Play
Fun with animals
We have multiple pets for your children to love and help take care of. These animals include Cornelius the Cornsnake, Penny the Skinny Pig, Hermione the Tortoise and chicks that we hatched together.
Did You Know... Many people are frightened of snakes. Research says children that experience positive exposure at a young age are less likely to fear them later on.
Outdoor Play
Outdoor play is important for children's health, creativity and development. For example, children that frequently play outdoors develop more advanced motor skills. These outdoor play skills include agility, balance and coordination. That's why we provide a backyard play area to dig, play and use their imagination. As well as frequently go for walks to the "Tot Park" down the street.
Reading, Communication & Make Believe
We thrive to encourage imagination, communication and children to have a 'voice' during all aspects of their learning. One way we promote this is through reading and storytelling. Reading and storytelling are important because it helps promote imagination, language and brain development.
Did You Know.. "Children learn 4,000 to 12,000 words per year through reading."
Photos & monthly Fun Days
Do you wonder what kind of fun your children are having at playschool? We love to show you! If given permission, we frequently take photos of your children having fun and send them to you. We also enjoy showing everyone else how much fun we're having on social media. We understand that doing this isn't for everyone; therefore, we ensure consents are signed first.
Every month we also do exciting fun activity days. Some of these days include crazy hair day, pj day and movie day. Speaking of photos and monthly fun, did you know that we do class photos at the beginning of the year and graduation photos at the end too?
